Say goodbye to Winter!

With spring on our door step, it’ll be time to start working on your lawns! If you have an irrigation system, please remember to have those de-winterized so that you can use them again as the weather warms. For those lawn enthusiasts, now is the perfect time to start checking out the local green houses and planning what you will be planting. Remember, your lawn does not only effect your own property when it comes to curb appeal, but also effects those of your neighbors.

Home Tips

I would again encourage all homeowners to change your furnace filters monthly. This helps to cut down on excessive heating bills and helps to minimize the dust in your home. It also helps to increase the life span of your HVAC system. Most of the systems in new homes are electronic. When the air flow is slowed by a dirty filter, the heating unit stops functioning at peak capacity causing rooms to become cold. The same applies to the summer months when when cooling your home. You can pick up inexpensive filters at WalMart and Lowes.

Keep a few on hand - your HVAC system (and your heating/cooling bill) will thank you.
